What would you like to learn more about?

What would you like to learn more about?

It is a busy time of the year for us all with holiday parties, 2011 planning and lots of visits with family and friends. So I’ll be quick.

I am writing today because I want to create a new video. I’d like to know what internet marketing topic you’d be most interested in learning more about? Would you like to learn about search or social media? Are you more interested in corporate topics or personal branding … something I’m calling ‘monetizing yourself’?

Do you want the basics or would you prefer a deep dive into advanced strategies?

Are there any challenges keeping you up at night that I may be able to answer? What is the ideal solution you are looking for?

Please comment on this blog with the video topics you’d like to learn about! I look forward to getting your replies and based on the comments I will begin preparing the new video in the next couple weeks!

I would like to learn more on creating tags, in blogs, twitter, facebook etc. I am sure it is VERY simple – just have not had the time to delve into it.

    Thanks!

I still have not found anything out there explaining how to efficiently use LinkedIn to build your brand, get more exposure, and increase client base.

Maybe this would be a good topic.

    Thanks Jay – You Rock!!

    HI Jay

I am really excited about learning how the Balance of Power is shifting towards Facebook. How is the new profile shifting the ability of bussiness online to reach out to costumers.
As the world wide web continues to be more representative of the actual world we start seeing who is really connected in the world – not just the web. I also would love to see you write about web 2.0 burnout – when people retreat into just there narrow circle – and stop interacting with people outside the circle of "real" friends. How do you deal with this in your costumers?

I feel there's plenty of "basic" information available on the web but not enough advanced strategies.

I'd like to see more of these, particularly focused on corporate brands (i.e. working with a corporate image while maintaining a happy client; working with road blocks put up by corporations in areas like branding and social).

I'd also like to see more strategic use of search. Really this topic could be fresh every time a video came out with all the changes occurring.

Ideal solution? Well, it'll be different for everyone, but a set of applicable strategies and techniques which can be modified as needed for each client would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Jay,

Dave MacMurchy from the USF thanks for the open floor collaberation. I would like to take something a little deeper and advanced on SEO strategies and personal Branding. It's always good so no matter what you come up with I will enjoy it.

    Thanks
    Dave

Personal branding – or as you referred to it – monetizing yourself – is of interest to me – at the beginner level

I'd like to learn more about a couple of topics:

    1) Social shopping on Facebook. There are lots of companies out there who could benefit from a social shopping experience within Facebook. It's seems to be the "next big thing".

    2) Using LinkedIn to build a strong sales lead funnel.

    3) When is the right time and how to monetize my site selling ad space?

    4) How to pick the right web design vendor

    Any insights would be awesome!

Is Content King… or as the latest buzz that CONTEXT is King, what's your take on that one.
As Google evolves and Yahoo cuts back, what next steps in the PPC arena do you expect?

    Thanks for asking, Jay.
I'd love to learn more about simple SEO strategies to keep in mind when I work on pillar articles, blog posts, event descriptions, etc.
Most instruction I find is on
how to go out and find the "hottest niche" to monetize and create a landing page to direct buyers to affiliate links. That's not what I need. I'm trying to put my message out in a way that the right audience will find it.
So, a simple overview would be great, with more indepth study available.

    Hi Jay,
I am a Handwriting Expert that wants to share what I know via different modalities: written and video. As I am self taught on all of the technical aspects, I need help in where/how to best learn how to integrate/do things such as landing pages. I have a website and blog, but I need some tutorials on the mechanics of linking landing pages, as well as integrating with Constant Contact.

I think a topic on managing your online properties is a good idea. With so many tasks at hand it'll be nice to hear how some who have made it manage their work load. Subtopics could include outsourcing, time management tricks, or workarounds.

    Thanks!
    Joe
