Happy Birthday Twitter!

Yesterday marked Twitter’s 4th birthday and to celebrate, let’s take a look at the top reasons why we love Twitter so much. Mashable started a hashtag, #thankstwitter4, which collected thousands of tweets for why Twitter is valued by so many. Here’s a look at a few of my favorites:

Twitter has become a great tool for so many of us in our own ways. From personal reasons such as finding love [and proposing] to connecting with people we never thought we could connect with.

Some of you may still remember Twitter Co-Founder, Jack Dorsey’s first tweet. Four years later, Twitter now has over 50 million tweets per day. In the course of a year, registered Twitter accounts have grown more than 1,500% and their team has grown 500%. And with no pun intended, they recently hired their 140th employee. Happy Birthday!
