Ten Golden Rules at NTL Miami: Practical Law Firm Growth in Focus

Ten Golden Rules spent the week in Miami at the National Trial Lawyers Conference (NTL), connecting with trial attorneys and focusing on what was actually driving law firm growth. Conversations throughout the conference centered on real-world marketing performance, intake efficiency, and how firms were adapting to changes in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google Screened Local Service Ads (LSA), and Ai (Artificial Intelligence).
At our booth, The Internet Marketing Lab, we provided personalized internet marketing audits for attorneys attending NTL. These short, practical reviews focused on what was working in a firm’s current online marketing, where leads may have been leaking, and which adjustments could create meaningful improvement without adding unnecessary complexity.
One of the more memorable moments of the conference occurred during the National Trial Lawyers Luncheon, where Omarosa—former Apprentice cast member and White House Assistant to the President—addressed the audience. In an unexpected moment, a power outage shut down the entire hotel mid-discussion, bringing the session to an abrupt pause.
Our Founder & CEO, Jay Berkowitz, also took the stage at NTL Miami, sharing practical insight into what was working in law firm marketing. His session focused on fundamentals that continue to matter—clear positioning, consistent content, strong intake systems, and disciplined execution—rather than chasing trends that fail to produce results.
For those who were unable to attend NTL, Jay’s on-demand video outlining the three-part law firm growth framework remains available for attorneys looking to attract stronger leads and scale with intention.
